now that athalia’s hair is long enough for those teeny weeny hair clips, i was inspired to make her a kikay box for her accessories out of this empty pink bubble gum ice cream container:
added a few embellishments and came up with this:

since that took very little time and i was still in the mood, i decided to wrap a couple of belated gifts. gift-wrapping is one of my ultimate creative activities; something that i have always loved doing.
this one’s a super late gift for omar. i’ve had this in my hands for quite some time since he’s in manila and my friends and i are procrastinating on sending it via LBC. i didn’t have a wrapper available, so i got this map from a magazine and added tiny footprint accents. the map and footprint theme fits the recipient perfectly as he is the most well-traveled in the group (the only one who’s been to all regions in the country).
and this one — wrapped in handmade paper, a lavender tissue ribbon, and tiny floral sequins — is a late wedding gift for our good friend rizande and his new bride, joy:
